COOKIE
POLICY
Ultimo aggiornamento: 13 ottobre 2026
Strumenti tecnici (sempre attivi)
| Nome | Tipo | Finalità | Durata |
|---|---|---|---|
Puoi cambiare scelta in qualsiasi momento:
This page explains which cookies and similar tools the UniPgRacingTeam website uses, what they are for and how to manage your choices, in line with the GDPR, Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s cookie guidelines (10 June 2021). The data controller is the University of Perugia: full details are in the Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar tools, such as the browser’s local storage, store information in the same way. They are either technical, needed for the site to work and not requiring consent, or non-technical (for example analytics, profiling or third-party), which require your prior consent.
Technical tools (always active)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
unipg-language | Local storage, first party | Remembers your chosen language (Italian or English) | Until cleared from the browser |
unipg-cookie-consent | Local storage, first party | Remembers your cookie choices so you are not asked on every page | 6 months |
wordpress_*, wp-settings-* | Technical cookies, first party | Only for administrators who sign in to the site’s WordPress dashboard: authentication and dashboard preferences | Session or up to 1 year |
Third-party content (only with consent)
| Service | Provider | Purpose | Policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Maps | Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC | Shows the interactive map of our base on the Home and Contacts pages. Google may set cookies (for example NID) and collect data such as your IP address. | Google cookies ↗ Google privacy ↗ |
Until you consent, the map is not loaded and no data is sent to Google. You can still open our location in Google Maps through the direct link on the page.
What we do not use
The site does not use profiling cookies, analytics tools, advertising pixels or social buttons that load automatically. Links to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and press articles are plain links: external sites apply their own rules only when you open them.
Managing your choices
On your first visit a banner lets you accept, reject or customise non-technical cookies. Closing the banner with the “×” rejects non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time:
You can also delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Blocking technical tools may prevent the site from remembering your language.
Updates
This Cookie Policy may be updated, for example if we add new services. If there are significant changes we will ask for your consent again.
